Discus clappi

 

The shell of this land snail has a crazy sculpture and shape. You could fit four of these onto a dime. The shell is from the research collections of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. The collections were open today as part of the annual meeting of the American Malacological Society. Snail people everywhere — heaven.
