Fall migration — the first big push

Here they are: the boreal forest’s birds are moving through Sewanee. Magnolia warblers, Tennessee warblers (that don’t breed in TN, go figure), Swainson’s thrushes, and plenty more that I couldn’t see in the treetops.

    8 sp. at mom’s water feature this weekend. We’ll be on the Rio Grande (LRGV) by the middle of next week. dale and jeannie
